Sunday afternoon means it’s time for the Record Rewind, highlighting the top new tracks that you might’ve missed during the work week, all from my favorite independent acts out there. If it’s on the site, it’s something that you need to check out!
Across the PGTC SoundCloud page and my playlists on Spotify, these stuck out as my favorite independent songs of the week…
_____
DENNY WHITE – “Traces” (Spotify)
After another solid push from Spotify’s set of New Music Friday playlists, this Los Angeles singer/songwriter is certainly feeling the love from the streaming world. I really dig the production on this song, and there’s definitely some replay value. White knows a hit!

MARTIN LUKE BROWN – “65 Roses” (iTunes) (Spotify)
After releasing “Shadow & Light” a little under two months ago, Brown starts off 2017 on a fantastic note with a deeply personal cut that was inspired by two people affected by cystic fibrosis. Though it’s a very sad experience, a beautiful track came out of that pain.

AVI ON FIRE – “So Far Away From Me” (SoundCloud)
