Welcome to Add Lib, your Tuesday report on POP! Goes The Charts that’s mad about CHR/Top 40 adds, based on the station data provided by Mediabase 24/7 and Add Board. This week: in a tight battle for the top spot, Majid Jordan rode some waves to #1. Let’s add ’em up:
RADIO’S GOT THE BLUES: Surf’s up! The duo of Majid Jordan has a tasty time at the Top 40 format with “Waves Of Blue”, which earns the top spot on this week’s adds report with 42 stations on impact. Just behind them, pop star Olivia Rodrigo grabbed 40 early stations on the panel with runner-up “Good 4 U”, which will soon be the third song to chart from her forthcoming album Sour, due on Friday.
The only other impacting title of note came from Cheat Codes and Tinashe, who started in sixth place with 19 adds for “Lean On Me”.
Charting singles from Billie Eilish, Mimi Webb and NF returned to the top ten on the adds report this week.
