It’s time once again to analyze the airwaves and find out if your favorite new releases will be lighting up your local station’s playlist this week. Which tunes will climb to the top and which ones will hit a stop? Here are four new titles impacting this week at the Top 40 format:

CHARLI XCX featuring TROYE SIVAN – “1999” (Atlantic)
Album: TBA (2019)
Past T40 History: The first collaboration between these two soloists is not a hot Prince cover, but his “1999” hit #12 in July 1983.

ELLA MAI – “Trip” (10 Summers/Interscope)
Album: Ella Mai (2018)
Past T40 History: Following her recent top 30 song “Boo’d Up”, this recent #1 on the Urban chart is ready for another Top 40 trip.

MARK RONSON featuring MILEY CYRUS – “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” (RCA)
Album: TBA (2019)
Past T40 History: Ronson has one #1 title at the format, while Cyrus has two. Will this collaboration land them their next big one?

XXXTENTACTION x LIL PUMP featuring MALUMA & SWAE LEE – “Arms Around You” (EMPIRE-Warner Bros.)
Album: TBA (2019?)
Past T40 History: Of the four soloists included on this collaboration, just Lee has previously made it into the top 40 at this format.
