Welcome to Add Lib, your Tuesday report on POP! Goes The Charts that’s mad about CHR/Top 40 adds, based on the station data provided by Mediabase 24/7 and Add Board. This week: Charlie Puth lights up the report with his latest release. Let’s add ’em up:

LIGHTING UP THE LIST: The Top 40 radio panel turns on the lights this week, as Charlie Puth leads the report with “Light Switch”. His new song, which was originally teased on TikTok last fall, picked up 141 stations on impact. It’s currently his 12th top 40 entry at the format. “Light Switch” also led the adds report at Hot AC radio yesterday, securing 54 stations there.

A week ahead of impact, “Enemy” appears in fifth place on the report for Imagine Dragons and JID, picking up 20 early adds. The theme song from Arcane: League Of Legends now ranks at #2 on the Alternative radio chart.

Charting singles from Latto, The Walters and The Weeknd also returned to the top ten on the adds report this week.

LIVIN’ FOR THE WEEKND: After a very tight race this Tuesday, The Weeknd scored another 35 adds for “Sacrifice”, becoming the Most Added track at the Top 40 format for the second consecutive week. Newcomer Lauren Spencer-Smith climbed into second place, picking up 34 new stations for “Fingers Crossed”, a recent viral tune from TikTok. Finally, The Walters impacted today with yet another successful song that was picked up by an audience on the video app: “I Love You So”, which landed in third place with 32 adds.

Charting singles from Emmy Meli and Latto also returned to the top ten on the adds report this week.
