Welcome to Add Lib, your Tuesday report on POP! Goes The Charts that’s mad about CHR/Top 40 adds, based on the station data provided by Mediabase 24/7 and Add Board. This week: Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa have a tasty pie for the pop panel. Let’s add ’em up:
THE “SWEETEST” THING: Earning 140 stations on impact, “Sweetest Pie” is the delicious and deserving winner of the Most Added title at the Top 40 radio format, as the collaboration from Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa is off to a quick start. Last weekend, it became their seventh and 17th top 40 hits, respectively, and could end up just outside the top 20 by the weekend.
The only other impacting title of note comes from Eddie Benjamin, who tied for seventh place with 20 adds for “Weatherman”. The single entered at #49 on last weekend’s chart and should move up a bit with the new activity. It’s his first song to impact here.
Charting singles from Dove Cameron, Em Beihold and Tate McRae also returned to the top ten on the adds report this week.
We’ll see you next week for another action-packed adds session.
