NEW MUSIC FRIDAY: Releases For The Week of November 30, 2018

Will he be the chart champion?

They are the potential champions, my friends, but who will keep on fighting ’til the end? Get ready to buy and stream your picks, because these are the notable digital and physical releases out this Friday:

MEEK MILL – Championships (iTunes)
With his first album following his release from prison this past spring, Mill’s newest album is sure to do well commercially in the States. It includes the song “Dangerous”, a collaboration with Jeremih and PnB Rock that holds at the top of the Urban chart.

THE 1975 – A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships (iTunes)
This quartet has quite the fan base, which should easily push their new set into the top five on the Billboard 200. Two of the cuts from the band’s album have reached the top 20 on the Alternative radio list: “Give Yourself A Try” and “Love It If We Made It”.

ALESSIA CARA – The Pains Of Growing (iTunes)
Cara’s sophomore effort features the moderately successful “Growing Pains”, a top 20 entry on the Top 40 and Hot AC charts, as well as “Trust My Lonely”, which is lower on both lists. Will it hit the top ten on the Billboard 200 like 2015’s Know-It-All?

Notes: If you were a fan of the pop group R5, who recorded for Hollywood Records, then you already know Ross and Rocky Lynch’s current project, whose track climbed into top 100 on iTunes during its release day. Your pop prayers have certainly been answered!
