RECORD REWIND: PGTC Picks, 7/30 – 8/5/17

Sunday afternoon means it’s time for the Record Rewind, highlighting the top new tracks that you might’ve missed during the work week, all from my favorite independent acts out there. If it’s on the site, it’s something that you need to check out!

Across the PGTC SoundCloud page and my playlists on Spotify, these stuck out as my favorite independent songs of the week…

JAMES DROLL – “Bad For You” (iTunes) (Spotify)
After all the Nashville love last week, I had to spread a little this week as well. Enter Droll, who I’ve enjoyed a few tracks from in the last year, including “Off Beat” and “Sleepwalker”. “Bad” is, well, pretty good, as its future R&B sound sizzles through your speakers.

LOSTBOYCROW – “Missing London” (iTunes) (Spotify)
This Los Angeles-based performer has been featured on the Rewind (and my playlists) for some time now, with the track “Spin The Globe” getting a brief mention last month. The guitar-driven “London” is a pleasant pop track, one that’s sure to appeal to his base.

For more great new music, these songs are worth a listen…
ANNA MAE – “Call Girl” (SoundCloud)
FLEURIE – “Hurricane” (SoundCloud)
NATHAN BALL – “Waste Of Time” (SoundCloud)
PATRICK JAMES – “Waste Of Time” (SoundCloud)
TRENT DABBS – “Set For Life” (SoundCloud)

Want to be featured on this weekly wrap-up? Submit your music to adamfsoybel@gmail.com and I’ll check our your tunes. Thanks!
