American Idol alum Benson Boone earns his first #1 on my personal chart with “Ghost Town”, moving from 2-1 in its 16th week on the chart. While that may seem like a slow run, Boone’s song has been riding in the top five for the past ten weeks, stalling at #3 for six of them. Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift leap 12 notches to #19 with this week’s Biggest Mover: their duet version of “The Joker And The Queen”. A pair of new tunes enter the top 40: at #36, Mimi Webb burns onto the survey with “House On Fire”, while newcomer Dove Cameron is flying in at #40 with “Boyfriend”.

Chart Notes:

  • Despite losing its bullet, “Oh My God” holds at #1 on my personal chart for a third week, as Adele and her hit face some challenges from tracks by artists like Benson Boone, GAYLE and Lauren Spencer-Smith. Newcomer Em Beihold climbs up the chart from 40-28 with the TikTok-fueled “Numb Little Bug”, making it the Biggest Mover within the countdown. Two titles are new this week: at #31, “The Joker And The Queen” pairs Ed Sheeran with longtime friend and collaborator Taylor Swift. The original solo version of the tune can be found on his album =, which topped the Billboard 200 chart during the fall. Further down, Tate McRae enters at #35 with “She’s All I Wanna Be”, which officially impacts at the Top 40 radio format (along with the Sheeran and Swift collaboration) on Tuesday.
