SINGLE PREMIERE: Zedd featuring Hayley Williams (of Paramore) – “Stay The Night” (+ Lyrics)

Paramore or less a hit.

Paramore or less a hit.

Here’s the song that we’ve been waiting for almost two weeks now, a duet that takes us into the world of dance. This new song puts the lead singer of Paramore and the Russian-born, German-raised DJ together for the first time, and while it may raise questions about Williams going solo, it may just be a one-off event. Sonically similar to Zedd‘s former hit with vocalist Foxes, “Clarity”, the song should attract a large audience and quickly build on the charts until the holiday season. Enjoy!

Listen to “Stay The Night”.  / Purchase “Stay The Night” on iTunes.

“STAY THE NIGHT”

[Verse 1]
I know that we are upside down
So hold your tongue and hear me out
I know that we were made to break
So what, I don’t mind

[Bridge]
You cue the lights, I’ll draw the blinds
Don’t dull the sparkle in your eyes
I know that we were made to break
So what, I don’t mind

[Chorus]
Are you gonna stay the night? (x2)
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Are you gonna stay the night?
Are you gonna stay the night?
Doesn’t mean we’re bound for life
So-oh-oh-oh-oh
Are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night?
Doesn’t mean we’re bound for life
So-oh-oh-oh-oh
Are you gonna stay the night?

[Verse 2]
I am a fire, gasoline
Come pour yourself all over me
We’ll let this place go down in flames
Only one more time

[Bridge]
You cue the lights, I’ll draw the blinds
Don’t dull the sparkle in your eyes
I know that we were made to break
So what, I don’t mind

[Chorus]
Are you gonna stay the night? (x2)
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Are you gonna stay the night?
Are you gonna stay the night? (We can play)
Doesn’t mean we’re bound for life (We got today)
So-oh-oh-oh-oh
Are you gonna stay the night?
Night, night, night…
Are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night?
Doesn’t mean we’re bound for life
So-oh-oh-oh-oh
Are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night? (x2)
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Are you gonna stay the night?
