Welcome to Add Lib, your Tuesday report on POP! Goes The Charts that’s mad about CHR/Top 40 adds, based on the station data provided by Mediabase 24/7 and Add Board. This week: GAYLE force winds remain in the forecast at the format as we head into 2022. Let’s add ’em up:
A-B-C U NEXT YEAR: Securing another 47 adds this week, newcomer GAYLE has the Most Added tune at the format for the second week in a row with “Abcdefu”. It also tied for fourth place on the report at the Alternative format, picking up a total of five stations there.
This was truly the week of the woman at the format, as Doja Cat‘s “Woman” and Emmy Meli‘s “I Am Woman” continued their run up the adds report with their best totals to date. The former track earned 25 new adds and tied for second place, while the latter jumped into fourth place with 23 adds.
Charting singles from Adele, Benson Boone and Latto returned to the top ten on the adds report this week.
