Four additional tracks moved up at least six positions. There are three solid debuts in the top 40 this week: Dayglow‘s “Close To You” is the top new entry at #36, followed just behind by Brynn Elliott‘s “Tell Me I’m Pretty” at #37 and the antithetical “I’m Not Pretty” by Jessia at #40.

Chart Notes:

  • It’s a second week at the top for George Ezra‘s “Shotgun” on my personal chart, as Kacey Musgraves‘s “High Horse” appears ready to lead the record rodeo next month, up 5-2 on the latest update. Last week’s top new entry from newcomer Nina Nesbitt makes a huge move from 39-29, as “Loyal To Me” secures the title of Biggest Mover. Two collaborations debut on the countdown this week, with “Happier” from DJ/producer Marshmello and rockers Bastille claiming the Highest Debut at #34. The British band has led by chart three times between 2013 and 2016, with their most recent chart single, “Quarter Past Midnight”, reaching #7 earlier this summer. The second debut is a single that pairs singer/songwriter Mat Kearney and DJ/producer RAC, coming in at #40 with “Memorized”. It’s the second top 40 entry from Kearney’s album CRAZYTALK, which follows “Kings & Queens”, a #21 song from the spring of this year.
