This week’s Biggest Mover, blasting from 36-22, is the second entry on my chart for Mimi Webb: “House On Fire”, which reached the top ten nationally in the U.K. and Ireland. There are four debuts on the chart this week, led by Regard and Years & Years at #36 with “Hallucination”. Coldplay appears in the top 40 for the second time this month with “People Of The Pride” at #37, their new radio single at the Alternative and Triple A formats. Entering at #39, Kygo and DNCE hit the floor with “Dancing Feet”, as the featured act earns their first chart hit since late 2017. Chart Notes:

  • This week’s chart update doesn’t feel like a ghost town, even if the new #1 song is about one. American Idol alum Benson Boone earns his first #1 on my personal chart with “Ghost Town”, moving from 2-1 in its 16th week on the chart. While that may seem like a slow run, Boone’s song has been riding in the top five for the past ten weeks, stalling at #3 for six of them. Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift leap 12 notches to #19 with this week’s Biggest Mover: their duet version of “The Joker And The Queen”. A pair of new tunes enter the top 40: at #36, Mimi Webb burns onto the survey with “House On Fire”, while newcomer Dove Cameron is flying in at #40 with “Boyfriend”.

Chart Notes:

  • Despite losing its bullet, “Oh My God” holds at #1 on my personal chart for a third week, as Adele and her hit face some challenges from tracks by artists like Benson Boone, GAYLE and Lauren Spencer-Smith. Newcomer Em Beihold climbs up the chart from 40-28 with the TikTok-fueled “Numb Little Bug”, making it the Biggest Mover within the countdown. Two titles are new this week: at #31, “The Joker And The Queen” pairs Ed Sheeran with longtime friend and collaborator Taylor Swift. The original solo version of the tune can be found on his album =, which topped the Billboard 200 chart during the fall. Further down, Tate McRae enters at #35 with “She’s All I Wanna Be”, which officially impacts at the Top 40 radio format (along with the Sheeran and Swift collaboration) on Tuesday.

Chart Notes:

  • After stalling at #2 in October with “Skate”, the duo Silk Sonic bounces from 2-1 with “Smokin’ Out The Window”, the second #1 single from An Evening With Silk Sonic on my personal chart. The first, “Leave The Door Open”, led my list for three weeks last May. Speaking of threes, that also happens to be the number of debuts this week: new at #35, Alesso and Katy Perry dance in with “When I’m Gone”, the top entry on the chart. With her recent viral hit from TikTok, Sadie Jean starts at #39 with “WYD Now?”, her first top 40 song. The reunited Big Time Rush is also new this week with their first charting tune since the fall of 2012: “Call It Like I See It” is in at #40.
