Up eight notches from 36-28, Kygo and Tina Turner have this week’s Biggest Mover with “What’s Love Got To Do With It?”, a remix of Turner’s 1984 smash. From her surprise album Folklore, Taylor Swift‘s “Cardigan” is new at #34 as the week’s Highest Debut. Maroon 5 have a solid entry at #36 with “Nobody’s Love”, while the late Chris Cornell lands at #39 with a posthumous cover of the Guns N’ Roses hit “Patience”.

Chart Notes:

  • Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande‘s “Rain On Me” remains in the forecast, leading my personal chart for a fifth week. Four new songs debut on the chart this week, led by Kygo‘s remix of Tina Turner‘s 1984 hit “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” at #36. 80-year-old Turner becomes the oldest living singer to ever make my top 40. Silversun Pickups pick up their first charting tune at #37 with this past week’s Most Added song at the Alternative radio format: a remake of Martika’s 1989 hit “Toy Soldiers”. Zedd and Jasmine Thompson start at #39 with “Funny”. The collaboration will be impacting at the Top 40 format on Tuesday, followed by a push at the Hot AC format next week. Lastly, a new group based in Utah checks in at #40: Blindlove‘s “I Wanna Be Okay” is headed up the Alternative chart, as it continues to spread across the panel.
