ADD LIB — Brace For (CHR) Impact (July 6, 2021)

Welcome to Add Lib, your Tuesday report on POP! Goes The Charts that’s mad about CHR/Top 40 adds, based on the station data provided by Mediabase 24/7 and Add Board. This week: Dua Lipa gets a whole lot of love again for her latest radio single. Let’s add ’em up:

“LOVE” FOR LIPA: After starting off with 49 early adds and a third place finish last Tuesday, Dua Lipa took over the top spot on the adds report this week with 56 more stations for “Love Again”, the new single from the Future Nostalgia album. The song entered the chart at #37 on the most recent update last weekend. It’s also picking up some minor airplay at the Hot AC and Rhythmic radio formats, though it hasn’t impacted at either of them yet.

Watch out for new and emerging singles from Trinidad Cardona and Maroon 5: the former and his “Dinero” tied for third place with 20 stations, thanks in part to its viral success on TikTok, while the latter picked up another 15 stations for their “Lost”, landing in fifth place.

Charting singles from Nic D, Tai Verdes and Tones And I returned to the top ten on the adds report this week.

We’ll see you next week for another action-packed adds session.
