ADD LIB — Brace For (CHR) Impact (April 13, 2021)

Welcome to Add Lib, your Tuesday report on POP! Goes The Charts that’s mad about CHR/Top 40 adds, based on the station data provided by Mediabase 24/7 and Add Board. This week: Doja Cat and SZA give much “More” to the panel with their new hit. Let’s add ’em up:

“KISS” MY ADDS: The latest release from Doja Cat and SZA, “Kiss Me More”, easily took the Most Added title at the Top 40 format today with 125 commitments on impact. It entered at #33 on last weekend’s published list. The two women also led today’s report at the Rhythmic format, putting up 47 adds there. It’s likely to do well on both charts through the spring and summer.

The only other new title in the top five comes from AJ Mitchell, whose “Stop” earned 33 stations on impact and tied for third place. Does it become his fourth top 40 entry at the format in the coming weeks? We’ll find out soon.

Charting singles from Justin Bieber, Lil Nas X and Olivia Rodrigo returned to the top ten on the adds report this week.

We’ll see you next week for another action-packed adds session.
