RADIO REPORT: What’s Popping At Top 40 Radio This Week (January 25-26, 2021)

It’s time once again to analyze the airwaves and find out if your favorite new releases will be lighting up your local station’s playlist this week. Which tunes will climb to the top and which ones will hit a stop? Here are four tracks impacting this week at the Top 40 format:

INDIANA MASSARA – “Squeeze” (Wamba)
Album: TBA (2021)
Past T40 History: Her cover of “I Think We’re Alone Now” earned some minor airplay at the format, but she’s never charted here.

JASON DERULO featuring ADAM LEVINE – “Lifestyle” (Atlantic)
Album: TBA (2021)
Past T40 History: Derulo and Levine’s single reached the top 50 on Sunday. The former’s “Take You Dancing” is still in the top 15.

MADISON BEER – “Boysh*t” (Access/Epic)
Album: Life Support (2021)
Past T40 History: Ahead of her forthcoming album, this singer charted last year with “Good In Goodbye” (#42) and “Baby” (#39).

SABRINA CARPENTER – “Skin” (Island/Republic)
Album: TBA (2021)
Past T40 History: Carpenter has seen four of her prior songs stall in the 20’s at the format, including 2018’s “Almost Love” at #21.

Next week: we’ll see how easy or not it is for Troye Sivan‘s latest to earn some adds at the format.

How will these songs perform on the adds report? Let me know!
