Welcome to Add Lib, your Tuesday report on POP! Goes The Charts that’s mad about CHR/Top 40 adds, based on the station data provided by Mediabase 24/7 and Add Board. This week: Ariana Grande does some easy math and lands at the top for the second week in a row. Who else is crunching numbers this week? Let’s add ’em up:
34 + 35 = 87 ADDS: After earning last week’s Most Added song with “Positions”, Ariana Grande lands another 87 adds this week for the follow-up, “34+35”. It entered at #45 on last Sunday’s published chart and should reach the top 40 by the weekend.
In the top five on the adds report, Ritt Momney‘s viral cover of “Put Your Records On”, originally performed by Corinne Bailey Rae in 2006, came in fourth place with 29 adds this week. Starting in fifth, the Marshmello, Imanbek and Usher collaboration “Too Much” put up a solid 21. It received nine at the Hot AC format yesterday.
Another pair of recent collaborations crashed the top ten here in eighth place: David Guetta and Sia‘s “Let’s Love” and Wallows and Clairo‘s “Are You Bored Yet?”, which both secured twelve stations.
Charting singles from Harry Styles and Jason Derulo returned to the top ten on the adds report this week.
Next week: Ashnikko and The Weeknd are saving some tears and adds for Tuesday’s refreshed report.
