ADD LIB — Brace For (CHR) Impact (November 19, 2019)

Welcome to Add Lib, your Tuesday report on POP! Goes The Charts that’s mad about CHR/Top 40 adds, based on the station data provided by Mediabase 24/7 and Add Board. This week: Arizona Zervas takes his musical map and leaps to the top of the report, but there’s plenty of other action in the top ten. Let’s add ’em up:

ARIZONA ROX THE TOP: After three years of releasing songs, format newcomer Arizona Zervas recently leapt up the sales and streaming charts with his breakout hit “Roxanne”, which now becomes this week’s Most Added single at the Top 40 format. A week ahead of its official impact date, the smash cruises in with 71 stations, while scoring another 40 stations at the Rhythmic format. At this point, it’s pretty clear that the song will make a strong top 40 entry by the weekend, though we’ll have to see how high it goes.

Billie Eilish settles into the runner-up position with 34 stations for “Everything I Wanted”. She also earns a second place finish at the Alternative format with another 15 stations there. It appears that this tune will be able to chart concurrently with “All The Good Girls Go To Hell”, which recently entered the top 20 on the pop radio survey.

Established hits by Blackbear, Dua Lipa and Travis Scott are among those returning to the top ten on the report this week.

Beyond Zervas’s release, no other songs are currently listed as impacting next week, though that will likely change soon.
