RADIO REPORT: What’s Popping At Top 40 Radio This Week (June 3-4, 2019)

It’s time once again to analyze the airwaves and find out if your favorite new releases will be lighting up your local station’s playlist this week. Which tunes will climb to the top and which ones will hit a stop? Here are three new hits impacting this week at the Top 40 format:

KATY PERRY – “Never Really Over” (Capitol)
Album: TBA (2019)
Past T40 History: Her third top 40 song of the year and 27th overall had a nice debut in the top 30 on last Sunday’s published list.

MARK RONSON featuring CAMILA CABELLO – “Find U Again” (RCA)
Album: Late Night Feelings (2019)
Past T40 History: This is Ronson and Cabello’s first collaboration to date. Together, they have five #1 singles overall at the format.

THE CHAINSMOKERS featuring BEBE REXHA – “Call You Mine” (Columbia)
Album: World War Joy (2019)
Past T40 History: The EDM duo has placed two songs in the top ten so far this year. Will this tune with Rexha become their third?

Next week: Russ fights a “Civil War” with the panel, but there are more fighters to come…

Which of these new songs would you like to see top the charts? Let me know!
