RADIO REPORT: What’s Popping At Top 40 Radio This Week (March 18-19, 2019)

It’s time once again to analyze the airwaves and find out if your favorite new releases will be lighting up your local station’s playlist this week. Which tunes will climb to the top and which ones will hit a stop? Here are three tunes impacting this week at the Top 40 format:

BRYCE VINE featuring YG – “La La Land” (Sire/Warner Bros.)
Album: TBA (2019)
Past T40 History: Vine’s hit “Drew Barrymore” swung up to #15 last fall after a lengthy chart run. Will his follow-up song do well?

CNCO – “Pretend” (RCA)
Album: TBA (2019)
Past T40 History: The Latin boy band has one prior top 40 entry to date: 2017’s “Reggaetón Lento”, climbing to #35 at the format.

TWENTY ONE PILOTS – “Chlorine” (Fueled By Ramen/EMG)
Album: Trench (2018)
Past T40 History: This act piloted to #30 in January with “My Blood”. Their new release should earn them their fifth top 40 entry.

Next week: Stand by! No new singles have been announced as of yet for next Tuesday’s impact date.

Which of these new songs would you like to see top the charts? Let me know!
