RADIO REPORT: What’s Popping At Top 40 Radio This Week (February 18-19, 2019)

It’s time once again to analyze the airwaves and find out if your favorite new releases will be lighting up your local station’s playlist this week. Which tunes will climb to the top and which ones will hit a stop? Here are the four new songs impacting this week at the Top 40 format:

BEBE REXHA – “Last Hurrah” (Warner Bros.)
Album: TBA (2019)
Past T40 History: After three top five entries with various collaborations, will Rexha’s new solo song admit her back to the region?

CARDI B & BRUNO MARS – “Please Me” (Atlantic)
Album: TBA (2019)
Past T40 History: These two soloists previously performed together on a remix of Mars’s “Finesse”, hitting the summit last March.

MABEL – “Don’t Call Me Up” (Capitol)
Album: TBA (2019)
Past T40 History: Mabel is a newcomer here, but her mother Neneh and uncle Eagle-Eye Cherry previously charted at this format.

ZEDD & KATY PERRY – “365” (Interscope-Capitol)
Album: TBA (2019)
Past T40 History: After sneaking into the top 50 yesterday, the first collaboration between these two artists should chart very well.

Next week: hey look, streaming hits from Billie Eilish and Panic! At The Disco get their party on at the format on Tuesday.

Which of these new songs would you like to see top the charts? Let me know!
