Chart Notes:

  • It’s another week at the top for Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus with “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart”, spending their second frame at the top. In a solid week for notable movers, with seven titles rising either five or six spots, the week’s survey also has a healthy pack of three debuts in the top 40. Leading the way, “Rainbow” from Kacey Musgraves enters at #36. It’s the second chart song off her album Golden Hour, which produced a #2 hit last year in “High Horse”. Passenger scores his tenth top 40 single on my chart with “Survivors”, placing at #38. It’s the follow-up song to “Hell Or High Water”, which got as high as #6 last year. Finally, at #40, Dido returns with her first top 40 hit since January 2004. “Give You Up” is from her forthcoming album Still On My Mind, coming 15 years after “White Flag”, which reached #2 on my chart, fell out of the survey.
