Chart Notes:

  • Congrats to Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus, who each earn their first #1 song on my chart with “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart”, up 2-1. The hit is currently in the top 20 on the Top 40 chart, as it approaches the region on the Hot AC list. Dua Lipa‘s “Swan Song” leaps from 34-26, which is enough for the soundtrack cut to claim the title of Biggest Mover. Four new songs enter the top 40 this week, led by Panic! At The Disco‘s “Hey Look Ma, I Made It” at #33. It’s the follow-up to “High Hopes”, a huge radio track that got as high as #2 on here. With their three-week run at the top with “Chances” coming to a close, the Backstreet Boys are in at #36 with the third radio single from their #1 album DNA, “No Place”. You’ll also find it in the top 40 on the Hot AC survey. Further entries this week all come from chart newcomers: Lizzo comes in at #38 with “Juice” and the collaboration from Smith & Thell and Swedish Jam Factory titled “Forgive Me Friend” starts at #39. The latter song is already in the top ten in Sweden, while the former saw a solid sales and streaming spike following a recent performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
