Chart Notes:

  • Congrats to newcomer Alec Benjamin, whose first top 40 hit becomes my first #1 song of 2019. “Let Me Down Slowly” is now at the top in its 15th week on the chart, which is a fairly slow climb, but by no means a record. The song is included on his mixtape called Narrated For You, which came out late last year. Seeb x Bastille take “Grip” up from 33-24, earning it the title of Biggest Mover on my newest update. A pair of new songs by Imagine Dragons (“Bad Liar”) and Jon Bellion (“Stupid Deep”) land at #37 and #38, respectively. A lyric video for the former debuted earlier this week, which is charting in countries like Australia, Norway and Switzerland, which the latter is being serviced to radio here in the U.S. very soon.
