RECORD REWIND: PGTC Picks, December 9-15, 2018

Sunday afternoon means it’s time for the Record Rewind, highlighting the top new tracks that you might’ve missed during the work week, all from my favorite small label and independent acts out there. If it’s on the site, it’s something that you need to check out!

Across the PGTC SoundCloud page and my playlists on Spotify, these stuck out as my favorite independent songs of the week…

AIDAN ALEXANDER – “Melancholia” (Spotify)
Previously on the Rewind: First appearance
Notes: Actor and singer Alexander has a notable fan base already, and he makes the weekly post with this intriguing smooth sound.

CARLIE HANSON – “Numb” (Spotify)
Previously on the Rewind: Sixth appearance
Notes: Rewind regular Hanson shifts from the more poppy “Toxins” to this hard-hitting hip hop jam, another great single from her.

DELANEY JANE – “Psycho” (Spotify)
Previously on the Rewind: First appearance
Notes: Coming off the radio hit “Bad Habits” up north, CanCon queen Jane and her new pop tune should be a winner on the charts.

JT ROACH – “Shivers” (Spotify)
Previously on the Rewind: First appearance
Notes: He’s written for plenty of pop chart favorites, but Roach’s latest song as an artist sounds like it could go the distance in 2019.

For more great new music, these songs are worth a listen…
AARON TAOS – “Loneliness”
EDEN XO – “Dirty Blonde”
JACKSON HARRIS – “Tired Of Being Lonely”
SOFI DE LA TORRE – “Voicebreaks”
THE BAND CAMINO – “Less Than I Do”
