NEW MUSIC FRIDAY: Releases For The Week of December 14, 2018

A web of new music.

‘Tis the season for some jolly gifts from the musical gods, including several notable rap albums and the big soundtrack to one of this weekend’s hottest films. Here are all the albums and singles hitting the market this Friday:

VARIOUS ARTISTS – Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse (Soundtrack) (iTunes)
Featuring new songs from Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Post Malone and many other artists, the soundtrack to this animated movie (which opens tomorrow) should receive a nice boost if the film performs at the box office. Malone’s “Sunflower” (with Swae Lee) is currently charting at several radio formats.

KODAK BLACK – Dying To Live (iTunes)
This album features the Travis Scott and Offset-assisted “Zeze”, a recent #2 single on the Billboard Hot 100 that continues its run in the top ten on the Rhythmic and Urban charts. Given that song’s success, the entire set is likely to be fairly reactive in the market.

MITCHELL TENPENNY – Telling All My Secrets (iTunes)
Tenpenny recently topped the Country radio survey with the hit “Drunk Me”, which is to be followed with “Alcohol You Later” in the new year. We’re sure plenty of his fans will be taking a sip of his latest album in the next few days.
