RECORD REWIND: PGTC Picks, November 25-December 1, 2018

Sunday afternoon means it’s time for the Record Rewind, highlighting the top new tracks that you might’ve missed during the work week, all from my favorite small label and independent acts out there. If it’s on the site, it’s something that you need to check out!

Across the PGTC SoundCloud page and my playlists on Spotify, these stuck out as my favorite independent songs of the week…

CAPPA – “Sux” (Spotify)
Previously on the Rewind: Sixth appearance
Notes: Continuing her streak of great pop songs, this performer’s follow-up to the June single “Tension” is another catchy earworm.

EMILY BURNS – “Damn Good Liar” (Spotify)
Previously on the Rewind: First appearance
Notes: Burns’s Seven Scenes From The Same Summer from earlier this year is a glorious pop set and this great tune is a winner too.

MATT HALL – “Second Boyfriend” (Spotify)
Previously on the Rewind: First appearance
Notes: Finally making it onto the Rewind with his sixth single of 2018, this Nashville artist connects with a super R&B-flavored jam.

For more great new music, these songs are worth a listen…
TESSA VIOLET – “Bad Ideas”
WRABEL – “First Winter”
