Chart Notes:

  • “Be Alright” leads my personal chart once again, giving Dean Lewis‘s hit a second week at #1. It’s still building at the Hot AC and Top 40 radio formats, reaching the top 20 at the former. Last week’s top debut by Sigrid, “Sucker Punch”, makes a big move from 38-27, as it becomes this week’s fastest-moving record in the countdown. Four new tunes land on the chart this week, led by a pair of notable collaborations from Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper and Jason Mraz featuring Meghan Trainor. The former, a cut off the chart-topping soundtrack to the movie A Star Is Born, is “Shallow”, landing at #36. The latter, the second radio single from Mraz’s current album Know., is “More Than Friends”, coming in at #37. “More” is the follow-up to “Have It All”, which got as high at #4 earlier this year. Just below those titles, Noah Kahan‘s “False Confidence”, his third top 40 hit, starts at #39, while O.A.R. returns with “Miss You All The Time”, their ninth chart entry, entering at #40. “Miss” is the group’s first single to make the top 40 since the fall of 2016.
