RADIO REPORT: What’s Popping At Top 40 Radio This Week (October 8-9, 2018)

It’s time once again to analyze the airwaves and find out if your favorite new releases will be lighting up your local station’s playlist this week. Which tunes will climb to the top and which ones will hit a stop? Here are seven (!) songs impacting this week at the Top 40 format:

KHALID – “Better” (Right Hand/RCA)

LAUV featuring JULIA MICHAELS – “There’s No Way” (Kobalt/AWAL/in2une)
Album: TBA (2018)
Past T40 History: Slow-moving hit lovers unite! His “I Like Me Better” landed at #7 in July, while her “Issues” went to #4 in 2017.

Past T40 History: In May, “Bite My Tongue” reached #38. Henderson previously had three minor top 40 hits with Big Time Rush.

Next week: It’s a divalicious Tuesday, as new hits from Mariah Carey and Rita Ora are among the titles impacting at the format next week.
