NEW MUSIC FRIDAY: Releases For The Week of April 27, 2018

Malone again (naturally).

New post, new Post! Perhaps it’s a little oversimplified, but it is true. Send your driver for your bentley, or at least your computer or mobile device, because here are the albums and singles you need to check out on digital services and in stores this Friday:

POST MALONE – Beerbongs & Bentleys (iTunes)
In the current era of giant streaming debuts, this highly-anticipated release will likely be the latest to score hundreds of millions of streams during its first week in the market (and, ultimately, much further than that.) At 18 tracks in length, including the songs “Psycho” (featuring Ty Dolla $ign) and “Rockstar” (featuring 21 Savage), it will open at #1 on the Billboard 200 next week. Does this debut affect the artist’s previous set, 2016’s Stoney, in a positive way? How many new songs from Beerbongs will enter the equivalent Hot 100? Stay tuned.

KEITH URBAN – Graffiti U (iTunes)
If Malone isn’t your thing, then country and pop fans should welcome the latest album from Urban, which features the songs “Female” and his current hit with Julia Michaels, “Coming Home”. It should oust Jason Aldean‘s current release to become the top country album in the land next week.

Notable albums out this week: Anne-Marie‘s Speak Your Mind (iTunes), Blossoms‘s Cool Like You (iTunes), Elohim‘s Elohim (iTunes), Godsmack‘s When Legends Rise (iTunes), Janelle Monáe‘s Dirty Computer (iTunes), Poo Bear‘s Presents: Bearthday Music (iTunes), Twin Shadow‘s Caer (iTunes), Willie Nelson‘s Last Man Standing (iTunes), YoungBoy Never Broke Again‘s Until Death Call My Name (iTunes)
