Welcome to Add Lib, your Tuesday report on POP! Goes The Charts that’s mad about CHR/Top 40 adds, based on the station data provided by Mediabase 24/7 and Add Board. This week: ZAYN proclaims that it’s all about “Me”, but does his latest track take the Most Added title, or will one of last week’s delicious duets eat up the adds toward a #1 finish? Let’s add ’em up:
“ME” TWO: The top tier of this week’s Top 40 adds update definitely has a “Me” thing going on, even without the myself or I. For most of the day, “Done For Me” by Charlie Puth featuring Kehlani, last week’s runner-up single, and the impacting “Let Me” by ZAYN saw a decent amount of action from the panel, the former receiving 56 stations in the week after its official impact, with the latter collecting 48 stations. Look for ZAYN’s new release on his forthcoming studio album, due later this year. Meanwhile, Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa slip to third place with the Most Added song from a week ago, “One Kiss”, new at 28 more stations.
The only other significant impacting song of note is “Push Back”, a collaboration by Ne-Yo, Bebe Rexha and Stefflon Don. In a fourth place finish, it pulls in 18 adds during its first week. Ne-Yo’s upcoming album, Good Man, is due this summer. Rexha’s song “Meant To Be”, featuring Florida Georgia Line, recently peaked at #2 on the pop chart, though it’s still up in spins for the week. Stefflon Don has yet to enter the top 50 here, though she has seen some moderate chart results on the Rhythmic and Urban lists.
