RADIO REPORT: What’s Popping At Top 40 Radio This Week (April 2-3, 2018)

It’s time once again to analyze the airwaves and find out if your favorite new releases will be lighting up your local station’s playlist this week. Which tunes will climb to the top and which ones will hit a stop? Here are the three potential hits impacting this week at the Top 40 format:

KIM PETRAS – “Heart To Break” (Bunhead/in2une)
Album: TBA (2018)
Past T40 History: With tens of millions of streams since last year, German singer Petras heads to the pop format for the first time.

LOGIC & MARSHMELLO – “Everyday” (Def Jam)
Album: Bobby Tarantino II (2018)
Past T40 History: Currently approaching the top 30 here, this collaboration marks the first pop single off Logic’s recent #1 album.

THE CHAINSMOKERS – “Everybody Hates Me” (Disruptor/Columbia)
Album: TBA (2018)
Past T40 History: After a few misfires earlier this year, the EDM duo is presently in the top 40 with their eighth top 40 hit to date.

Next week: another collaboration, this one from labelmates Charlie Puth and Kehlani, is the only song (so far) impacting at the format. Who’s going to join the party? Stay tuned!

Which of these new songs would you like to see top the charts? Let me know!
