Chart Notes:

  • Debuts from Bishop Briggs, Paramore and Walk The Moon all make the top 40 this week, one of which is the follow-up single to a giant chart-topper from late last year. The highest of those three tracks, Paramore’s “Rose-Colored Boy”, colors the chart with a dazzling #38 debut. It’s the second song to enter the top 40 from their After Laughter set; “Hard Times” reached #4 last year. Female soloist Briggs is next, waving her “White Flag” into the #39 spot. It follows “Dream”, which stalled at #15 for two weeks in December. (It was last week’s Most Added song at the Alternative format.) Finally, the Moon men from Ohio walk in at #40 with “Kamikaze”, which gives them two of my top 40 hits of the week. “One Foot”, which had a great run of six weeks at #1 in November and December, moves back up to #15 in its 25th week on the chart. (Look for the song to easily land at the 30-week mark in April.)
