Chart Notes:

  • New entries from Why Don’t We and Jack & Jack roll into the countdown, which means I could actually be a 14-year-old female in a 27-year-old male’s body. Who knows? Anyways, “Trust Fund Baby” from the pop quintet lands at #37, giving the boys their second top 40 hit on my chart. Their first, “Something Different”, got as high as #23 last fall. One additional song, “These Girls”, bubbled under the survey a couple of months ago. “Trust” was co-written by superstar Ed Sheeran. One spot lower, at #38, “Beg” becomes the first top 40 hit for the duo Jack & Jack. Jack Johnson and Gilinsky have worked together on both comedy bits and music for video platforms like Vine and YouTube for several years now, having accumulated nearly 165 million views on a personal account at the latter website. A new acoustic version of the release features labelmate Olivia O’Brien.
