RADIO REPORT: What’s Popping At Top 40 Radio This Week (December 4-5, 2017)

It’s time once again to analyze the airwaves and find out if your favorite new releases will be lighting up your local station’s playlist this week. Which tunes will climb to the top and which ones will hit a stop? Here are four tracks impacting this week at the Top 40 format:

ALAN WALKER featuring NOAH CYRUS & DIGITAL FARM ANIMALS – “All Falls Down” (RCA)
Album: TBA
Past T40 History: Walker’s “Faded” went to #45 last year, but Cyrus and DJ/producer Nicholas Gale went top 40 earlier this year.

BTS featuring DESIIGNER – “MIC Drop” (BigHit/RED)
EP: Love Yourself 承 ‘Her’ (2017)
Past T40 History: The popular K-pop group has never charted at the format before, but the rapper’s “Panda” went to #20 in 2016.

G-EAZY & HALSEY – “Him & I” (RCA/Capitol)
Album: The Beautiful & Damned (2017)
Past T40 History: With a pair of #1 songs and nearly a dozen top 40 hits between them, CHR radio’s new romance has just begun.

MACHINE GUN KELLY, X AMBASSADORS & BEBE REXHA – “Home” (Atlantic/RRP/Interscope)
Album: Bright (Soundtrack) (2017)
Past T40 History: Both Kelly and Rexha have hit #1 here as a part of collaborations. The New York group has two top tens to date.

Next week: It’s the last impact date of the year, featuring Thirty Seconds To Mars and (hopefully) more!

Which of these new songs would you like to see top the charts? Let me know!
