Chart Notes:

  • They scored three #1 songs in a row from their last album, Talking Is Hard. Now, the Ohio band Walk The Moon returns to the top with the lead single from their follow-up What If Nothing. Leaping from 5-1 in its ninth week on the survey, “One Foot” bravely steps over the competition, becoming the 18th song to reach #1 during the 2017 chart year. “One” is currently in the top ten on the Alternative chart, the band’s core format, while it also crosses over to the Hot AC and Top 40 formats.
  • This week’s two debuts come from female soloists with new singles from recent releases. With her third chart song from the album reputation, the current #1 title in the land, Taylor Swift comes in at #37 with “End Game”. The highest new entry’s a collaboration with Ed Sheeran and Future. Just two spots lower, at #39, is Demi Lovato with the title track from Tell Me You Love Me, which hit the top five several weeks ago. It’s her follow-up to “Sorry Not Sorry”, which peaked at #9.
  • Next week marks the last week of the 2017 chart year! Getting excited for the Top 100 of 2017? It’ll be here before you know it, and I’ll have an update on all the dates next week, so check back then.
