Chart Notes:

  • Liam Payne is close to falling out of the top 40 (down 30-35 this week) with his former #2 hit, “Strip That Down”, but I’m sure he’ll return to the upper rungs of my chart soon enough with “Bedroom Floor”, his follow-up single. It’s new at #38, as it takes the title of Highest Debut on my latest chart. Payne’s highly-anticipated solo album still doesn’t have a release date.
  • Pop and dance singer Daya turns 19 on Tuesday, so make sure to wish her a big ol’ happy birthday on social media. She’s at #39 this week with a new track called, well, “New”. It leads her forthcoming second studio album, which also doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s sure to have plenty of bops. “New” was the third Most Added titl at Top 40 radio last week.
  • Finally, at #40, is the first chart single for Swedish-born, Nashville-based singer Andreas Moss. “Stuck In My Feelings” is currently at both Hot AC and Top 40 radio, recently going top 50 at the former. Moss’s label, Curb, has shied away from the formats in the last decade, largely developing charting acts at Christian (AC/CHR/Rock) and Country radio.
