NEW MUSIC FRIDAY: Releases For The Week of October 13, 2017

Think P!nk!

What a Beautiful week for a new batch of excellent releases in the music world… question is, which one will you dive into first? I have some suggestions! Here are the albums and singles you need to know this Friday:

P!NK – Beautiful Trauma (iTunes)
What about us? What about her new album? The pop superstar returns with her first studio release in just over five years, and at this point, it should be a worthy contender for the #1 spot on next week’s Billboard 200. Of course, it’s led by ‘What About Us”, a hit at AC, Hot AC and Top 40 radio (and still building nicely.) I’ll certainly be picking up a physical copy.

BECK – Colors (iTunes)
Making his way up the top ten on Alternative and Triple A top ten with “Up All Night”, this performer’s 13th studio album comes just under four years after his last one. It also features “Dreams” and “Wow”, two of his previous hits at the formats over the past couple of years. Could this set make a run for #1? Stay tuned.

GUCCI MANE – Mr. Davis (iTunes)
Mane’s Droptopwop mixtape narrowly missed the top ten on the Billboard 200 earlier this year, so the rapper is likely to get this release, at the very least, well into the region. His new studio album is led by the Migos-assisted “I Get The Bag”, bulleted at #11 on the most recent Urban chart.

CARLY PEARCE – Every Little Thing (iTunes)
Pearce is one of 2017’s most promising newcomers at Country radio format, as she climbs the top ten there with her track “Every Little Thing”. It should have a solid entry on the overall chart, and could be in the mix for #1 on the Country-specific survey.
