Chart Notes:

  • Four active hits sit just below the top ten this week: “I Know A Place” (14-11) by MUNA, “Anywhere” (13-12) by Passenger, “Say You Won’t Let Go” (15-13) by James Arthur and “Let’s Hurt Tonight” (16-14) by OneRepublic. With two newcomers and two chart veterans in the mix, it’ll be a fight to the finish to enter the region next week. Who makes it? Stay tuned.
  • This week’s Highest Debut is the latest solo hit from Nathan Sykes, who previously recorded with The Wanted. “There’s Only One Of You” is new at #39. It’s the third track to reach the top 40 from Unfinished Business, following “Kiss Me Quick” and “Give It Up”, which both garnered some minor CHR/Top 40 and Hot AC airplay for a short time.
  • Just below Sykes is Gavin DeGraw, who comes in at #40 with “Something Worth Saving”. It’s the title track from his latest set, and the second single from it. (First single “She Sets The City On Fire” peaked at #7 last year.) DeGraw first made my top 40 in 2003 with “Follow Through”. His biggest hit, 2005’s “Chariot”, went to #2.
