Chart Notes:

  • This week’s Highest Debut is by a 31-year-old newcomer who calls himself Rag’n’Bone Man. His first chart hit is in at #36 on the countdown, and it’s called “Human”. The title has previously appeared in the top 40 for Christina Perri (#1, 2014), as well as The Killers (#5, 2008). This “Human” is currently #1 on iTunes in over a dozen countries, so make sure to check it out before it (hopefully) takes over the U.S. charts next year.
  • Producer Alex Da Kid has his first top 40 single as an artist this week, coming in at #37 with “Not Easy”. The song features X Ambassadors and Elle King. Upon release, the version issued to download and streaming platforms contains a section from rapper Wiz Khalifa, but as it heads for adds on Alternative and Triple A radio, that portion has been removed.
  • Also debuting this week is the first chart single for 19-year-old singer Maty Noyes. She’s at #38 with “In My Mind”, a single from her new EP Noyes Complaint. The set features five songs, including one with PGTC favorite Lostboycrow. You’ll see “Mind” in the top 50 on CHR/Top 40 radio soon.
