Chart Notes:

  • While Michael Bublé‘s “Nobody But Me” remains at #1 for a third week, a few tracks in the top ten are looking to steal the top spot from it later this month. Up 6-5 is OneRepublic‘s “Kids”, their biggest hit on my chart in over three years. Making a four notch jump to #6 is newcomer James TW and “When You Love Someone”, impacting at Hot AC radio tomorrow. In just four weeks, Emeli Sandé‘s “Hurts” is at #10, up three from last week. Who will grab the throne first? Stay tuned!
  • Two of last week’s entries achieve double-digit moves on the chart this week. Train‘s “Play That Song” plays on at #25, up a very nice 11 spots. They last hit my top ten with “Angel In Blue Jeans” in 2014, and “Play” could hit the region in the next few weeks. However, this week’s Biggest Mover is Niall Horan‘s “This Town”, climbing an amazing 15 notches from 37-22. The singer from One Direction is also due for some top ten time by the end of the month.
  • Only seven more weeks until the end of the chart year! While you’re carving out some pumpkins for Halloween, I’ll continue to carve out this list of my top 100 songs of 2016. More to come…
