Chart Notes:

  • It’s a speedy rise to the top for Justin Timberlake‘s international smash, “Can’t Stop The Feeling”. It advances 2-1 in its sixth week on the chart. “Can’t” is featured on the soundtrack to the upcoming film Trolls, which isn’t out until November. (Spoiler alert: the song probably won’t be at #1 then.) Timberlake first hit #1 on my personal chart in 2000 as a part of the boy band *NSYNC.
  • This week’s Highest Debut is from 27-year-old Wrabel. He’s new at #37 with “11 Blocks”. Nearly two years ago, he was on this very blog when his Sideways EP was released. I enjoyed the interview then, and I’m really enjoying his latest song. It’s not available to purchase or stream yet, but it has debuted on a few Hot AC radio stations in the last few days.
  • The only other debut is the second chart single from AudioDamn!, “Don’t Call Me When It’s Over”. The German act calls in at #40 this week. This past January, they reached #31 with “Radar”. The trio recently shot a video for their latest single.
