Chart Notes:

  • This week’s Highest Debut, and a very high one at that, comes in at #26. Justin Timberlake is back on my personal chart with that single everyone is talking about, “Can’t Stop The Feeling”, featured in the upcoming animated film Trolls. It’s had a huge lead on iTunes since it came out, and several million streams across various services. Will it be crowned the Song Of The Summer for 2016? We’ll see soon.
  • New at #36 is the first top 40 entry for Jordan Fisher, best known for his recent appearance on Grease: Live and several roles in Disney Channel shows and films. “All About Us” goes for adds at CHR/Top 40 radio in about five weeks, but it’s on a number of monitored stations already. I’m expecting big things for the song over the summer.
  • Two years ago, New York singer/songwriter Ingrid Michaelson just missed my top ten (#12) with “Girls Chase Boys”. At #38 this week, she’s back in the chase with the lovable “Hell No”, the leadoff single from It Doesn’t Have To Make Sense. A release date hasn’t been set for the album yet.
  • Finally, in at #40, is the second top 40 solo single for Zayn. “Like I Would” follows closely behind “Pillowtalk”, a recent #1 on my chart for three weeks. Both singles are found on Mind Of Mine, but “Like” is only available on the deluxe edition.
