NEW MUSIC FRIDAY: Releases For The Week of March 11, 2016

Welcome to the Houserwarming party.

You’re invited to the Houserwarming party.

After two surprise albums dropped last week, this week’s batch of releases may not seem as exciting. However, there are plenty of quality acts making their way into the music marketplace with new music. Here are this week’s album and single releases:

  • RANDY HOUSER — Fired Up (iTunes)
    • Houser’s certainly on a hot streak! His recent single “We Went” just went to the top of the Country radio chart. It gives him five top five hits in a row, which is, by far, the most successful period for the singer in his career. In fact, his latest album title seems like a pretty good indication of how he’s feeling. Look for it to reach the top ten.
  • 3 DOORS DOWN — Us And The Night (iTunes)
    • The Mississippi band is long past their glory days, but they still have an audience at Active Rock radio with “In The Dark”, currently rising in the top ten. Their last album managed a #3 bow in 2011. The new set will probably enter in the lower part of the top ten.
  • More albums out this week: AURORA‘s All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend (iTunes), Brian Fallon‘s Painkillers (iTunes), Cardiknox‘s Portrait (iTunes), Emmy The Great‘s Second Love (iTunes), Gavin James‘s U.S. release of Bitter Pill (iTunes), Jeff Buckley‘s You And I (iTunes), Killswitch Engage‘s Incarnate (iTunes), Lucius‘s Good Grief (iTunes), Matt Corby‘s Telluric (iTunes), Parachute‘s Wide Awake (iTunes), Pete Yorn‘s ArrangingTime (iTunes), The Wild Feathers‘s Lonely Is A Lifetime (iTunes)
  • More EPs out this week: gnash‘s Us (:):) (iTunes), Jukebox The Ghost‘s Thump Sessions (iTunes), Kane Brown‘s Chapter 1 (iTunes)
