Chart Notes:

  • This week’s Highest Debut comes from two newcomers who call themselves The Saint Johns. From the upcoming album Dead Of Night, “Lost The Feeling” wins a place on the chart at #37. Louis Johnson and Jordan Meredith co-wrote the track with JT Daly and Vince Schumerman. We wish them good luck as the song heads to Triple A radio this week.
  • A spot below them is another new act to the top 40. The Toronto band called The Strumbellas is in at #38 with “Spirits”. It’s also in the top ten on the Alternative chart, aided in part by iHeartMedia’s On The Verge artist integration program. An album titled Hope is due in April, their third to date.
  • Finally, at #39, is superstar Taylor Swift‘s latest entry from the album 1989. “New Romantics” is the seventh radio single to be taken from the recent Album Of The Year winner at the GRAMMY Awards. “New” was first featured exclusively on an edition of the album sold at Target stores.
