Chart Notes:

  • Powering up eight notches to #17 is Walk The Moon‘s “Work This Body”, their third hit in a row from the album Talking Is Hard. A very fun music video just premiered for it, featuring superheroes and super food fights. Also up this week is that hot single from Zayn, “Pillowtalk”, jumping 28-20. It’s also closing in on the top 20 on the pop radio listing and the top 40 at the Rhythmic format, where it’s currently benefiting from its On The Verge status at iHeartMedia stations. Finally, That Poppy is up eight (40-32) with “Lowlife”. Her first EP, Bubblebath, was released on Friday.
  • Well, it took a while, but 46-year-old Gwen Stefani is about to put out her first solo album in just under ten years. This Is What The Truth Feels Like is set to be released on March 18. The second single from it, “Make Me Like You”, debuts at #36 this week, making it the Highest Debut. It’s the follow-up to “Used To Love You”, which recently peaked at #6. Look for the live music video for “Make” to premiere on the GRAMMY Awards telecast on Monday evening during a commercial break.
  • This week’s other new entry is by Tryon, a duo consisting of brothers Justin and Stephen Kirk. The Nashville boys crash in at #39 with “Somebody To Love Me”. The independent single impacts at CHR/Top 40 radio in two weeks, and though it’s a tough date at the moment, it’s already getting some play at Hits 1 and Radio Disney. The Kirks join a growing list of brother duos like Evan and Jaron, Hudson TaylorK-Ci & JoJo and The Madden Brothers to hit my chart since 1999.
