NEW MUSIC FRIDAY: Releases For The Week of February 12, 2016

Go West.

Go West.

The Grammy Awards are coming up on Monday night, and though many albums will lift up the charts with soaring sales, we do have a handful of notable debuts in the mix to compete with them. Here are this week’s album and single releases:

  • KANYE WEST — The Life Of Pablo (iTunes)
    • The title’s changed, the listing’s changed, but West… well, his antics haven’t changed at all. Whether it’s Cruise or Escobar or Neruda, Pablo seems to have many people interested, and it’ll likely debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. An album cut, “Real Friends”, has some airplay at the Urban radio format.
  • More albums out this week: Daughtry‘s It’s Not Over…The Hits So Far (iTunes), Joey+Rory‘s Hymns (iTunes), Lee DeWyze‘s Oil & Water (iTunes), Lissie‘s My Wild West (iTunes), The Record Company‘s Give It Back To You (iTunes), The Suffers‘s self-titled set (iTunes), Vince Gill‘s Down To My Last Bad Habit (iTunes), Wynonna & The Big Noise‘s self-titled set (iTunes), Vinyl (Music From The Original HBO Series, Vol. 1) (iTunes)
  • More EPs out this week: Lianne La Havas‘s Blood Solo (iTunes), Round2Crew‘s Your Girlfriend Thinks I’m The Sh*t (iTunes), That Poppy‘s Bubblebath (iTunes)
