Chart Notes:

  • Nashville newcomer Marc Scibilia first released “How Bad We Need Each Other” in 2012, and three years later, the single is finally headed to Hot AC radio. He lands this week’s Highest Debut on my top 40 at #34. The track can currently be found on an EP entitled Out Of Style, but it’s only available on Spotify. However, his forthcoming album of the same name, due at both purchase and streaming platforms, is out on October 30.
  • We say goodbye to Rob Thomas‘s “Trust You” this week, a song that just missed cracking the top ten, but his next single is taking its place in the countdown. “Hold On Forever” is the second release from The Great Unknown and bows in at #38. In a few weeks, Thomas will be back on the road to play a number of U.S. dates in both the South and the Midwest.
  • It just premiered a few days ago, and now, the latest single from Ellie Goulding makes its way onto my survey at #39. “On My Mind” marks the leadoff single from her forthcoming album, Delirium, due on November 6. Earlier this year, the singer landed at #1 on my chart for four weeks with “Love Me Like You Do”. Can she make it two in a row? We’ll see.
