Chart Notes:

  • Last week’s top new entry is now the Biggest Mover of the week, “Uh Huh”, by newcomer ROMANS. It leaps 36-28 on the chart and looks like it could be top ten bound next month. Other notable movers on the survey include “The Book Of Love” by Gavin James, climbing 13-7, and “Trust You” from Rob Thomas, up 39-33. James’s song is his first entry on my list, while Thomas’s hit is his 22nd to reach my chart.
  • This week’s Highest Debut is from a singer who was born in my home state: Massachusetts. Matt Nathanson is back with a great song for season, “Gold In The Summertime”, new at #39 this week. The singer originally from Lexington, but now a San Francisco, California resident, is looking for his third #1 on my top 40. His first two were “Car Crash” and “Faster”.
  • With two hits on this week’s survey, Tori Kelly may be falling with “Nobody Love”, but she debuts at #40 with the second single from Unbreakable Smile, “Should’ve Been Us”. It was the Most Added track on CHR radio during the past week, but with an unusually low total of 27 adds. The 22-year-old’s album is due out on June 23.
