TURN IT UP TUESDAY: What’s New In Stores This Week (April 8)

There’s a whole lot of genres represented on the schedule this week, from country to rock to pop and more. Here’s what albums and singles are in stores for the week of April 8:

  • There are no huge releases in the bunch, but one of the most notable is a Duets album from new Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee, Linda Ronstadt. The compilation features fifteen classic collaborations, including her big hits like “Somewhere Out There” (with James Ingram) and “Don’t Know Much” (with Aaron Neville.) (iTunes)
  • Taking on some of her favorite R&B and soul songs, Country singer Martina McBride returns with Everlasting. The album features duets with Gavin DeGraw and Kelly Clarkson. (iTunes)
  • Singer/songwriter Eric Hutchinson is currently rising on the AAA and Hot AC charts with a single called “Tell The World”. This week, parent album Pure Fiction arrives in stores. (iTunes)
  • Coming off a top 20 Rhythm radio single “Ride”, Texas-born R&B singer SoMo is out with his debut album, a self-titled effort. (iTunes)
  • Other releases out this week include: Avicii‘s True: Avicii by Avicii (iTunes), Betty Who‘s Slow Dancing (EP) (iTunes), Black Label Society‘s Catacombs Of The Black Vatican (iTunes), Carlene Carter‘s Carter Girl (iTunes), Emmylou Harris‘s Wrecking Ball (reissue) (iTunes), James Durbin‘s Celebrate (iTunes), Joan Osborne‘s Love And Hate (iTunes), Matt Hires‘s Heartache Machine (EP) (iTunes), MercyMe‘s Welcome To The New (iTunes) and Sza‘s (iTunes).

New digital-only singles that you can buy this week include:

  • “Back Home”, a brand new single from Andy Grammer. (iTunes)
  • “Beautiful Times”, new from Owl City featuring Lindsey Stirling. (iTunes)
  • “Colour Blind”, the first single outside of Glee for Amber Riley. (iTunes)
  • “Golden”, teaming together Lady Antebellum and Stevie Nicks. (iTunes)
  • “Meanwhile Back At Mama’s”, a new duet from Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. (iTunes)
  • “River Bank”, the first single from Brad Paisley‘s forthcoming album. (iTunes)
